Feral Body Rig
Designed to comfortably support compact cinema cameras such as the Arri Alexa Mini by spreading the weight over a larger surface area than previous rigs whilst also maintaining a minimal footprint so that straps do not need to be hidden by wardrobe, the Feral Body Rig means freedom to frame, how you see fit.
We know each minute matters on set, that is why ease of use was our primary goal with this rig. The lightweight chest harness itself attaches securely via quick release buckle and the articulating carbon fibre arms can now be attached to this chest harness via three quick release clamps. Then it’s as simple as choosing your angle, framing up, and tightening the lock-offs.
In a world that moves as quickly as ours, expandability is key. With an adjustable cheese plate securely mounted to its back, the Feral Body Rig can be expanded with V-Lock power distribution boxes, wireless transmission, and even a reverse mounting plate to capture angles from behind the wearer.
Kryten Helmet Rig
The Kryten Helmet Rig is our world-famous helmet POV rig.
The helmet rig kit includes a V-lock plate, various grip accessories such as a 15mm rod mount, 15mm bars, a safety cable, a noga arm which can be attached to the front or back of the helmet (ideal for adding a monitor for the operator), and a neck pillow for support and comfort whilst shooting.
You even can rig a monitor, a teradek and a follow focus to the helmet for precise shooting. Why not come in and test the helmet rig with your set up?
Feral Chest Rig
The Feral Chest Rig is the ultimate companion for capturing breathtaking point-of-view footage. This innovative rig is designed to securely mount your camera, providing a locked perspective relative to your torso. With its durable construction and ergonomic design, the Feral Chest Rig ensures stability and comfort, allowing you to focus on capturing stunning shots without any distractions.
Particularly suited to shots with more strenuous movement, as it puts less stress on the wearers neck than our helmet rig, it’s perfect for capturing intense action sequences, immersive or dynamic sports footage. The adjustable straps ensure a snug fit for all body types, while the quick-release mechanism enables hassle-free setup and removal.
The Feral Chest Rig is compatible with most cameras, all the way up to an Alexa Mini LF, but will be more comfortable with smaller cameras like the FX3 or Rialto front extension.

Klassen Far-Out Rig
Here at Feral, we pride ourselves on having the most innovative solutions for the body rigs that you need for your shoot. Most of them we build ourselves, but when we see something we love that someone else has put together, we want to get involved. Presenting the Walter Klassen FX Far-Out Body Rig. Compatible with small and bigger cameras, such as the Alexa Mini, Red and Sony cameras.
The Klassen FX Far Out camera body mount is an innovative new camera system that allows the talent to shoot themselves. This provides for some truly unique shots with a virtually unlimited range of options. Shoot from above, below, in front, behind or beside the with the same framing regardless of the talent’s movements. Only one post that can be configured in a myriad of ways to keep it out of frame and the new vest is easier than ever to hide under wardrobe. The 1-1/2 inch aluminium tube is widely available and easy to source if extras are needed. Tubes supplied with the kit are anodised black. Give us a call. We think you’ll love this as much as we do.
Feral Big Body Rig
You asked us, so we built it. The Feral Big Body Rig for grown-up cameras – use it with an Alexa Mini, Red Helium or FX9 etc, to achieve that look back fixed shot of the operator.
The Feral Big Body Rig can take a payload of up to 7kg so you can safely stick a cinema camera on there and not have to worry. Just make sure your core muscles are up for it! Utilising a strong back brace (those used in Moto MX), cleverly made into a fully supportive back/chest rig with connectors and a lightweight carbon pole tripod which extends out in front of you, the camera is mounted on a ball-head in and can be angled anyway you desire. Getting that perfect walk through-the-crowd shot has never been so easy!
