Scissor Tracks are a type of rail system designed for smooth and precise camera movement. Their difference when compared to other Dolly tracks is that they are foldable making them more compact allowing easier storage and transportation. They consist of a pair of parallel rails that can be extended to different lengths, simply by attaching more scissor tracks together, to accommodate various shooting distances. It allows you to attach a camera carriage or dolly onto the tracks, which can move along the rails using wheels or rollers, enabling smooth and controlled camera movements, including lateral, diagonal and forward/backward movements. They are easy to set up and can be used with a variety of camera systems and accessories, including tripods and sliders.
